21 Inch rainbow. She was a wise one, once hooked she headed for the brush. I used just enough give and take on the line to get her turned around. Took about 5 minuets to get her into the net (what could fit). Caddis larve, two split shots at about 4 feet deep was the trick. After a quick picture she was released for another day. I wish I could have gotten some better pictures. I wasn't going to chance the camera out in the rain but for this one, it was worth the gamble.

Rainy Day PIG!!

Helton Creek Trip 2/8/2009
The weather was excellent, reached high sixties today. A nice Brown and seven Rainbows were hitting Caddis larve today size #16 or less.
