Me and my son decided to enjoy the Easter weekend trout fishing on tribal land of the Eastern band of Cherokee Indians. The weather was great and we enjoyed some beautiful scenery. We fished the special catch and release section named Ravens Fork primiarily and landed several over 18 inches. When these fish hit, they hit hard, I hooked a monster that actually snapped the hook off the fly. On the way back we decided to explore a bit, traveling the parkway. We had a blast!
Me and my friend John decided to visit Helton today. It reached 73 degrees and was a beautiful day. only twelve or so caught between the both of us but what a great time we had. Seen the first snake of the season too, appeared to be a banded water snake. John enjoyed his new fly rod and picked up some new skills along the way! Hope you come along next time John, I had a blast.
