Where it takes me?

Sure is getting warmer out here! Took a day and just went wherever the waters took me. My beloved mountains never fail to recharge my soul and refuel my spirit... enjoy some shots along the way.

Ps.. The boot shot was taken to display the calrity of the water that day which proved a challenge with the smart fish in the area. And yes, thats a stuffed Bob Cat :)

The Bid D and Family!

Spent a great weekend with my son and my Aunt at her home in Brevard NC which is in the heart of some prime trout waters. Rain fell but who cares when you can fish waters like these. Streamers done the trick this day and with the rain, we had the river almost to ourselves. Thanks to Aunt Janet, Gregg, Ollie, Goldie and Misty for making us feel at home. It was nice waking up to her breakfasts in the mornings. Thanks to Gregg too for showing me some nice looking water that on my next trip over, we both will go and try.

Spring is almost here!

Took some time out to scout some water and catch a few shots. Spring is almost here. I noticed a couple of small hatches and a few bugs about! This is looking like it will be a great dry fly season.
