Scouting Trip

Decided to take the day and Scout some little known waters in the hunt for a new adventure. As usual, I took a few shots along the way. I hope you enjoy viewing them and it gives a little sense of the beauty that surrounded me... Cheers, John.

"Often I have been exhausted on trout streams, uncomfortable, wet, cold, briar scarred, sunburned, mosquito bitten, but never, with a fly rod in my hand have I been less than in a place that was less than beautiful."  Charles Kuralt

  2. Those are some awesome pictures. I would have to say I like the bridge with the autumn leaves and the purple sunset.

  3. Fantastic photo thread. I really enjoy scouting out places like this. An angler can find some real fishing nuggets by sifting through lesser known waters. Great post.

  4. Thanks everyone! I think the hardest thing to do during a day of scouting is leaving the rod behind! Usually pays off as upon your return, you drive less and fish more!

Its a great time of year to keep the camera handy, still looking for "that one shot" just like in any sport, the thing that keeps you coming back and at the ready.

Thanks for checking in, always great to hear from you all... John.
